The SeaMôr team and the commercially coded and insured hard boat Islander are available for workboat charter including commercial  work, media or safety boat hire in the Cardigan Bay area. 

The Islander is an aluminium hull hard boat, 24 ft in length and 8 ft wide, weighing 2 tons, with two four-stroke 60hp outboard engines, and is very stable, easily manoeuvrable, spacious and quiet. Drawing only 9 inches of water, she is perfect for accessing all the nooks and crannies of the Ceredigion Heritage Coast. With engines lifted up, the boat can be pushed in ankle-deep water and you can even beach it on sandy beaches!

Commercially coded and insured for 12 passengers + 2 crew for MCA category 4, The Islander can work up to 20 miles from a safe haven. Onboard you will find all required safety, navigation and fire fighting equipment including a fish finder/echo sounder and GPS. There is a sturdy dive ladder, easy water entry over the sides and step platform in the stern. 12 people can be seated on padded seats and there is dry storage space for equipment.

We can help you launch your boat, deploy or fix your moorings, search and recover lost chains, engines or other objects.
