About Us
SeaMôr is run by an experienced skipper Brett and a marine biologist and a marine mammal expert Hanna.
Brett has been crewing and skippering onboard wildlife watching boats in Cardigan Bay for the last 15 years and has a Boat Master’s licence as well a commercial skipper’s ticket. Brett is a BSAC Sports Diver and training to become a PADI Dive Master. He is one of the longest serving crew members of the New Quay Lifeboat Station and a Senior Helm on the inshore lifeboat.
Hanna is a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor and a marine biologist. She is a bio-acoustician and conducts her PhD research on acoustic monitoring of the porpoises and dolphins of Cardigan Bay at School of Ocean Sciences in the University of Bangor with Countryside Council for Wales and the Sea Watch Foundation. Hanna also has a commercial skipper’s ticket and is a member of the lifeboat crew. Both Brett and Hanna are certified 'Wildlife Safe' WiSe operators.
We also have volunteer crew and interns working with us and helping to conduct our boat trips, diving and research. In the summer of 2009 we were lucky to have a HSE Scuba Diver and Marine Biologist Christine Ingram volunteer for SeaMôr and working towards her PADI Dive Master qualification.
